Changes

Yep, I'm trying a new template...new profile pic...

I have no idea how to truly customize my blog. I just have to use what Blogger provides.

I may go back to my "dots" eventually...but you just never know!

I like your new look, and your profile picture...sweet!
I tend to like the simpler templates, they load easier and for me, are easier to read. Some out there are very beautiful, but I have all I can do to change my header picture!
Loved your Hidden Dirt post too. It's a great life lesson to take care of that hidden dirt in our lives...just like the dirt in our homes.
Glad you are all back safe and sound and had a good journey. pretty time school will start again!

Journey Struggles

Over the past few weeks, I have been reading a forum which deals with issues in the church with which we were formerly affiliated. I won't go into detail. What I will say though, is that there are a lot of hurting people out there who need your prayers. What does this have to do with me personally? A lot of those people are my friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ. There is this "thing" inside me that can't stand it when those I care about are mistreated, lied to, or in some other way wronged. It's that part of me that wants vengeance . Wow. Did I use that word? But it's true. I want the erring party to repent, yes. But I also want to see them do some groveling and major "making of things right". The journey began as a child, in my heart desiring to "know Jesus"...it continued as I sought to know Him more, to live for Him...it went along as I followed His call on my life...as I married, and had kids...as we ministered in various ways and places...
