Just Venting

So one day I innocently sign in to "blogger" to add a comment to a friend's blog. And boom! it makes me change everything over to the new blogger. Did I WANT to do this? No. Did I have a choice? No.

Can you tell I hate change???

So this post is simply my way of saying, "It was fine the way it was. Stop trying to always making everything more techie. Some of us like it just as it is. Forcing us to change is going a bit far."

Thank you. I've had my say. Now on to your regularly scheduled blogging.

(Actually, I'm just making sure I can add a post to this now that it's changed over. But venting felt good, too!) :o)

Lol!

I was really pissed off too [can I say that nwo that I'm going Catholic? :p] but it is rather useful. Just, if you have customized your blog a bunch or kno wanything at all about html (or mgiht ever be willing to learn), do not upgrade your blog to the new version. It's not for you. *shivers.

Actually, it didn't give me any choice. It just gave me one chance to sign in without updating...then the next time, I had to do it. It was relatively painless, I guess. I just would have liked to stay with the old one.

What's up with this "latest-greatest" fetish these tech people have???

And, it's nice to know I'm not alone in my blogger angst! :-)

I am so with ya on this one - I have been away with Life for about a month and come back to find that I need to update everything...

Adding new posts wasn't hard - but figuring out how to leave comments - and is my username now, etc - ugh!

Hope life is treating you well! Thinkin of ya!

You know, just when I thought I had nothing to say and needed a breather...I thought of things to say. Ha!

Thanks for the empathy! :o) We'll all make it through. We may even actually some day LIKE the new blogger. (Oh, no!) :-o

What I meant was actually updating the blog itself to 2.0, and thereby exchanging html for the template system - Blogger kicked me off of 1.0 the same way it did you.

"You know, just when I thought I had nothing to say and needed a breather...I thought of things to say. Ha!"

And I thought I was the only one who suffered that condition... guess not. :p
